The Papestry Timeline - Own a piece of The Papestry exhibition.

This giclée print is a scaled down reproduction of the timeline that could be seen on the wall at the Papestry exhibition.
It features all building illustrations from the Papestry, along with their build date and current occupancy information. An ideal print for those who like to mix aesthetic with history.

Printed as a museum-quality giclée on beautifully textured Hahnemühle etching paper using archival inks, it captures every detail with exceptional clarity and is made to last for generations.

Unlike my limited edition releases, this is an open edition, meaning it is not signed or numbered.

Printed at 500 x 938mm.
Supplied unframed and shipped tracked in sturdy protective packaging.

FAQ - PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING

Why the longer lead time on shipping?

I now release my prints in batches. Once the pre-order window closes, all orders are sent to print, which usually takes around a week depending on the volume.

Once they’re ready, I head to the specialist printers in Leeds to personally check every print before signing and numbering them. The distribution team then carefully packs and ships them directly to you.

Can you frame it for me?

I don’t currently offer a framing service. If you’re considering one of the larger prints, I’d recommend checking with your local framer beforehand to make sure they can accommodate the size and to get an idea of cost.
If you’re local to Lincoln, I highly recommend Speed Frame.

Can I see them in person before buying

Framed prints will be available to view and purchase from Sppedframe, Lincoln from late August. You’ll be able to see the prints up close, including framed examples, and purchase on the day subject to remaining stock.

Hahnemühle What?

Hahnemühle Etching paper is a premium, mould-made art paper renowned among traditional printmakers and artists. Crafted by the historic German paper mill Hahnemühle, it is highly valued for its velvety texture, excellent ability to pick up fine details, and archival museum quality.

Giclée What?

Giclée printing is a high-quality digital printing process used to create museum-grade, archival reproductions of fine art and photography. Pronounced "zhee-clay", the term comes from the French word gicler, which means "to spray" or "to squirt." This refers to how a specialized, large-format inkjet printer applies millions of microscopic droplets of ink to a surface to achieve ultra-fine detail and flawless colour transitions.
